FREE CPR + AED Training

Did you know that….”For every one minute delay in defibrillation, the survival rate of a cardiac arrest victim decreases by 7 to 10%. After more than 12 minutes of ventricular fibrillation, the survival rate is less than 5%“.

The good news is that the Shoreacres community has obtained an AED (automated external defibrillator) and training is provided by a BC Ambulance Paramedic,

The key to making this all work is that we have neighbours who can quickly obtain and deploy the AED until the next level of care is available (i.e. Tarrys First Responders and BCAS)

Free Training is scheduled for April 24  at 9 am at the USCC Hall in Shoreacres.

Please contact Cal Lorencz ASAP for registration.
